When will large sheets of graphene be available?
It will probably be awhile, maybe another 5 to 10 years. The scientists are having fun developing processes for making graphene in a controlled manner with controlled populations of flaws. Most of these pieces of graphene will be not much bigger than a stamp. The most desired size of graphene will be about the size of a silicon wafer that they use in the electronics industry. Beyond that size there will be few requirements for large pieces except for use in the solar photovoltaic industry.
